After a wonderful first CD (Overrated), Jerome Soudan (Von Magnet's percussionist) comes back with a double CD produced by two labels. Positive is released by Moloko+. Negative by Prikosnovenie. (They are available separatly). In both albums, Mimetic shows his talent for a frightening, sensual, mysterious and magnetic techno. His feelings are directly inspired by Berlin's atmospheres. Between industrial culture (Psychic TV, Einsturzende Neubauten) and avant-garde techno full of hallucinating rythms, Mimetic delivers a music for the soul and the body.

BIO :
Mimetic is the solo project of jerome soudan, drummer of European Industrial bands such as Von Magnet or experimental such as Column One. With a classical background, he is also playing sometimes orchestral percussions and computing stuffs in contemporary music performance (GRM). He was also composing some music for dance compagnies such as NDTII in The Netherlands (Den Hague). In France, he was writing a pre-thesis about industrial music for the University of Lyon (in 1993). Contributing to the life of industrial music in France he was co-organising festivals and concerts in Paris and tried to developpe a network between musicians in Europe which he continues since he lives in Berlin (3 years) with his contribution to METHOD TO SURVIVE NETWORK SYSTEM (with Column One & Artefakt magazine). The music of mimetic is a mixture of electronic and orchestral music with spoken word.
